Distance Makes the Heart Grow Fonder...for Bagels

We have missed the finale of Bethenny Getting Married, the premier of Rachel Zoe, and the mayhem of Housewives of New Jersey, but it's ok because....we found BAGELS! How excited were we when we stumbled upon Begels, cream cheese, and lox this morning? What a great way to start Sunday...

And we're back

Sorry for the long delay between posts. Been kinda crazy this week, between the jetlag, the working days and just a lot of the errands that need to get done. Anyway, this weekend has been great. A lot of rest and it seems that everywhere we go is a new and exciting thing to see.

Yesterday we went to The China Club (members only bitch!). Yeah, we know a guy. Anyway, it was pretty awesome. All fresh Chinese food, that was really tasty. Pork buns, peking duck, dim sum etc etc. All quality ish. Afterwards we explored the place. It was like going back in time to the 1920s in a mens club. Upstairs was an old school bar, a library, chess, a shoe shine and all these crazy pictures. Also we saw what looked like the original copies of treaties with the British and US from like 1900.

Today we are gunna go up to the peak and just look around. We should know this week where we are gunna live. Right now it sounds like a pimp pad in midlevels. Right off Robinson Road. Hopefully its still available when we go back to the broker tomorrow.

Lates for now.

First Brunch in HK

Today we wen to Brunch w/ Neal's bosses friends at a typical Asian Buffet. It was great except for the part when I threw up 2 times and had to leave :(
....one of the people we met said that they were sick every month for 10 months....eeek.
I want a bagel.
The neighborhood was cool though, a lot like upper east side! I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw a Nine West...there was something oddly comforting about it.
more later xoxo

2) The enticing smell of the subway after a heavy rain..part disgruntled New Yorkers, part homelessness

3)Cinnamon Raisin bagels

4) Living in a 5th floor walk up in a slanted brownstone

Rosie goes East

Rosie is visiting the vet on Monday to get her microchip implanted so that she can fly to Hong Kong. Fingers Crossed she will be OK!
Fact or Fiction: Rosie is going to crap all over the airplane on the 15 hour flight with me...
